A recent report by Carter Machinery has found that the construction industry is making improvements in the Southeast region of the United States. According to the report, more construction deals are coming through the area, likely due to a slowly recovering economy.

Throughout the Southeast, the housing market is improving, which has opened up business for construction companies to begin building again. Home construction was one of the biggest areas for spending in 2012, and home prices are increasing at the fastest rate in six years throughout the country, the report found.

As demand for new homes increases, construction companies will likely experience some improvements in revenue. In the Southeastern region of the U.S., new residential construction shot up by 6.6 percent in second quarter 2013 over the previous quarter. The five highest performing counties in the southeast were Hillsborough County, Fla., Fulton County, Ga., Miami-Dade County, Fla., Wake County, N.C. and Orange County, Fla.

If a small business owner wants to expand their construction-related company, they can come to National Funding for assistance with leasing or financing construction equipment. National Funding offers equipment financing options for entrepreneurs, and can also offer advice on getting a small business loan to help companies succeed.
